If you're a broadcaster or a producer in TV, radio or online, danger lurks! You want your programmes to stand out and your presenters and guests to engage audiences and stimulate debate. But legally, how opinionated can you be and does use of the word "allegedly¯ really get you out of trouble? Do you know the difference between "libel¯ and "slander¯ or how you can be in "contempt of court?¯ It's easy to fall foul of copyright law and new media can be an added complication - message boards, tweets and texts add a whole dimension of issues for the unwary.
